Tamara Hammack, MPH, LMT, CMLDT, Spark of Life founder, completed a Bachelor of Science, Spring 1996 and a Master of Public Health the Spring of 2001. She is certified by the Texas based Cooper Institute to work with persons with complex medical needs in the health and fitness industry, After obtaining initial massage therapy licensure March 2022, Tamara gained certifications to perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy by the Klose Foundation and Oncology Massage through industry expert Gayle MacDonald, MS. Tamara has practiced both modalities since 2023 and continues to grow that line of her business. Tamara also has experience as a personal trainer, elder hostel fitness instructor, health promotion specialist in community health and older adult programs, a community college health instructor, and life enriching hospice massage therapist experience. It is Tamara's hope that people of all ages and stages of life can one day experience the benefits of massage.
