About
Welcome to Naturally Well by Caroline!
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2011. I graduated from The Medicine Wheel a School of Holistic Therapies with 750 hours on December 21, 2010. I am Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork organization, which represents the highest standards in the industry.
I value people as who they are and work with them where they are. I have been trained in many modalities to stimulate the natural healing process of the body: Lymphatic Drainage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Cranio-Sacral, Medical & Pediatric Massage and Tui Na Acupressure. I customize each session specifically to meet the needs of my clients.
Most people experience muscle stiffness and joint pain as a way of life. Often it is not until they experience Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork that my clients realize how much energy is consumed by coping with tension and pain. This tension and knots of pain experienced are often messages of stress, anxiety and the need to listen to our body as it is telling us to pay attention to our health. Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork helps increase your awareness of your body's need while decreasing your pain level. Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork can be and essential first step and a means of continued support in the healing process.

About the Practitioner
📷📷
Hello! Welcome to my massage practice site as Caroline J. Vallejos, LMT#7044
I am practicing as a Naturopathic Intern, there is so, so much to learn! The human body is amazing and science continues to find new information and sometimes body parts! As one of my continuing education teacher once said "if you are the smartest person in the room, then you are in the wrong room"-Bryan Hawley, DC. So on my spare time, one of my hobbies is, I read....a lot!
I work WITH the client to ease their pain
I love to help people and make a difference
I have 3 beautiful children who inspire me daily in this field of alternative healing. I have lived in the Four Corners area since 1996 and my interest in alternative medicine began after my son was born. Understanding how the body can become its own natural healer became my mantra. I then pursued my studies at the Medicine Wheel a School of Holistic Therapies and graduated Winter of 2010.
Investing in massage is an investment in your health.
Lymphatic Massage is a system of massage that drains the lymphatic system through specific movements and a specific sequence. It encourages lymphatic flow and the natural cleansing process. Our bodies are compromised daily by the quality of food, water, air and other environmental toxins we are exposed to. Which then accumulates in our bodies as metabolic waste. Causing low energy, mood swings, fatigue, allergy symptoms, colds, arthritis, and many other inflammatory conditions. Lymphatic drainage massage has the greatest and most immediate therapeutic effect to build up the immune system with natural detoxification.
Neuromuscular Therapy is the soft tissue manual therapy manipulation of the nerves and muscles. The emphasis in the relationship of muscle fascia and connective tissue in which pressure is applied to soft tissue trigger points to stimulate the muscles. In conjunction a principal called Muscle Energy Technique is used for clients experiencing limited range of motion due to chronic muscle pain, stiffness or injury. If a joint isn't used to it's full range of motion there is greater risk to strains and injuries. It can be applied safely to almost any joint in the body. It is very beneficial to lengthen shortened or spastic muscles, weakened ligaments, improve muscle strength and range of motion. The muscles on one side of a joint will always relax to accommodate the contraction of muscles on the other side of that joint when indirect pressure is applied.

Cancellation Policy
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give a 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
I look forward to serving you!
Benefits of Massage
📷📷
Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:
- Decreased anxiety.
- Enhanced sleep quality.
- Greater energy.
- Improved concentration.
- Increased circulation.
- Reduced fatigue.
Massage can also help specifically address a number of health issues. Bodywork can:
- Alleviate low-back pain and improve range of motion.
- Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays.
- Ease medication dependence.
- Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body's natural defense system.
- Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles.
- Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts.
- Improve the condition of the body's largest organ—the skin.
- Increase joint flexibility.
- Lessen depression and anxiety.
- Promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks.
- Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation.
- Reduce postsurgery adhesions and swelling.
- Reduce spasms and cramping.
- Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles.
- Release endorphins—amino acids that work as the body's natural painkiller.
- Relieve migraine pain.
