I've lived a life full of movement, including martial arts, dance, theatre, and most recently, ice hockey. As a result of said activities, I am fascinated by how easily the human body can be strained, overworked, and injured--and also how resilient it is, how tenacious and willing to heal! I started to become more curious about post-activity forms of care as well as preventative care not just for athletes but for every type of body, which ultimately led me to pursue a license in Massage Therapy. Through this medium, I feel I can best put to use my care for each client, thoughtfully listening to the client’s concerns and working with them to create meaningful, productive sessions.
