When people ask me why I decided to open my own practice, I tell them about the number one complaint I’ve heard from new clients over the years: they go for a massage, tell the therapist about specific or chronic pain, and get a Swedish massage with a little extra attention on the problem area.

At Handled With Care, every session starts with a conversation about what’s bothering you, and the work is built around it. My specialty is TMJ massage, including intraoral work for jaw pain, clicking and tension headaches, and I also focus on chronic pain, sciatica and frozen shoulder. Our three licensed therapists also offer deep tissue, sports and prenatal massage. We’re in the Denver West office park, Suite 140, on the Golden–Lakewood line near I-70 and 6th Ave, and have been serving the Golden area since 2004.
