Within the course of our everyday lives, we are dynamic individuals who undergo stressors and changes on a daily basis.  Human beings are amazing in what we accomplish (and endure) any given day, but we are also wonderful at compensation.  Where we hold stress/tension, how we do or don't choose to exercise or utilize certain movement techniques, or how we do or don't recover from injuries or accidents, mentally or physically.

Our intention is to identify and evaluate dysfunction and work with you to provide beneficial, therapeutic manual treatment.  However, as dysfunction can be the result of cumulative, repetitive issues, we're not going to be able to resolve certain issues "instantaneously", rather, over the course of time and effort we hope to encourage instituting tissue changes for positive outcomes.

Additionally, we treat clients with the understanding that we want you to achieve a level of ability where you feel great about the treatment you receive, initiate some self-care strategies and come back on an "as needed" or "maintenance" basis.

During our intake evaluation, we'll go over movement patterns, identify potential causes for musculoskeletal issues and evaluate to determine the best course of treatment for you before, during and after your session.  Here at Function, Manual Therapy is a "Scientific Art", where we utilize our knowledge of Anatomy,  Physiology and Kinesthesiology to apply Therapeutic Treatment to support your overall well being.
