I have been a practicing massage therapist for over 30yrs, including doing massage work as a massage instructor, tutor, and mentor to many students entering the field. I am certified in Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular - Trigger Point therapy, Shiatsu, and Swedish massage. Currently, my focus is in Myofascial release for pain management. I also offer relaxation therapy, pre-natal massage, hot stone massage, sports and deep tissue massage.

I am a graduate of 2 massage schools. The first in 1989, graduate of the National Holistic Institute, Emeryville, California, the second in 2015, graduate of the Cortiva Institute, Pinellas Park, Florida. In 1996, I graduated from the Jewish Hospital College of nursing, St Louis, Missouri, where I worked at Barnes-Jewish Hospital on Kidney and Liver Transplant.

My passion for Myofascial work led me to take the SMRT (Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique) workshop by Dawn Lewis, and found it integrated perfectly with my style of work. SMRT addresses structures beyond muscles including: ligaments, tendons, bones, and fascia - SMRT resets the neutral point between muscle spindle cells and golgi tendon organs - SMRT resolves trigger points painlessly and enhances all other modalities.

Today, my focus is primarily on Injury rehab - pain management work, while blending in relaxation therapy techniques.
