Darcie has been on a lifelong journey to discover what can keep her pain free and help her lead a balanced life. In 1986, this led her to Ted Gorney, who opened up a whole new world of Reflexology and nutrition for her. Then the opportunity for learning massage therapy presented itself. Darcie became aware that she was being empowered with these new tools to take control and responsibility for her health. Then she honed her search for techniques that worked for her, so that she could share them with others. This led her to NeuroMuscular Therapy, Shiatsu, Zero Balancing, meditation teachers, and people who taught a myriad of energy work, including Polarity, Reiki, Quantum Touch, Bengston Method, Pranic Healing, and Tuning Fork Therapy.
Darcie has been in business for 37 years, and during that time has been a speaker, Reflexology teacher, and massage therapist at the Hamot Health Connection, and a Reflexology and Shiatsu instructor at Great Lakes Institute of Technology. She has also worked at local massage therapy clinics and health clubs. Darcie believes in service to the community and has volunteered her services to such organizations as the American Lung Association, The Regional Cancer Center, and The Second Harvest Food Bank.
