Cheryl Tjulander

Hi, I’m Cheryl Tjulander, licensed massage therapist, reiki master and owner of Poulsbo Healing Oasis.  I provide chronic pain, stress and anxiety relief with love and compassion in a body positive safe space.  I graduated from Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts in Tacoma, WA in 2018, but have been providing healing touch and massage for 20+ yrs in my prior career as a caregiver specializing in end of life.

 

My intention is to help you feel better fast while also helping you achieve long term health goals.  The foundation of my work is therapeutic lomilomi. I provide an intuitive integrative massage which may include hot stone massage, warm bamboo and reiki energy healing therapies.  I also offer full chest and breast massage for those who request it.  I work holistically, addressing body, mind, emotion and spirit, while inviting you to expand your awareness to the connections between all of these and your physical pain. I believe this is the best path to true healing.

My own struggle dealing with years of daily chronic pain with what felt like no hope in sight, and the resulting anxiety is what inspired me to become a massage therapist.  I received so much relief from receiving regular massage. Getting in touch with my whole being has helped me to break the pain cycle.  I still receive regularly scheduled massage and energy healing sessions as part of my ongoing self-care to keep me feeling my best.
