Anastasia Pridlides

Anastasia first experienced the Alexander Technique while attending college as part of the curriculum in one of her dance classes. Her experience there was powerfully transformative. The Alexander Technique helped her rehabilitate her dance injuries, find a deeper and richer movement potential within herself, and become less stressed and more balanced in her daily life. She decided to train become an Alexander teacher so that she could share this amazing work with other people.  She is particularly interested in working with people struggling with pain and injury, and additionally with those interested in the deeper connections between mind and body, and body and emotions. Her students come from all walks of life.

Alexander Technique is taught through the hands. Over the course of years that she spent putting “hands on” she realized that she could feel and affect people's energy systems with her hands. This led her to train as an energy healer in addition to her Alexander Technique training. She works with crystal tools in addition to her her hands to calm, re-balance and positively effect people's energy systems to facilitate physical, emotional, and/or spiritual healing for her clients.
