For more than 25 years, I’ve been helping people feel more at home in their bodies through the restorative practice of Amma massage.

Rooted in the principles of Chinese medicine, Amma uses rhythmic, acupressure-based techniques to stimulate energy pathways, support circulation, and calm the nervous system. The massage is performed fully clothed, making it both accessible and deeply relaxing. Many clients leave feeling lighter, more spacious, and refreshed — sometimes even a little taller and happier.

My approach is grounded in tradition, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s individual needs.

A Practice Built Over Decades

My journey with Amma began in San Francisco at the Shiatsu Institute and Therapy Center, where I was first introduced to this powerful and nurturing modality. After completing my initial training, I continued studying with directors of the Amma Institute, deepening my understanding and refining my practice over the years.

I later became certified in seated chair massage through TouchPro International. In 2004, I took ownership of Touch Wellness, a workplace wellness company, and expanded its services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Through that work, I supported employees with massage, ergonomic coaching, and health education.

Over the decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of people — from busy professionals carrying the physical and mental strain of long days at a desk to individuals seeking gentle, compassionate touch during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

The Healing Power of Compassionate Touch

My practice has also been deeply shaped by my training with the late Irene Smith, a pioneer in massage for the dying. Through this work, I gained meaningful experience providing compassionate touch to people receiving hospice care in their homes.

That experience continues to influence the way I work today: with presence, sensitivity, and an understanding that sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer is simply a safe space to slow down and reconnect with the body.

Services and Rates:

Amma 60 min - $120

Amma 90 min - $165

At your location - Add $30-60 depending on distance and travel time from Pacifica

On-site chair massage for groups (corporate, parties, benefit fairs, etc.) - $300 for 2 hours including travel within the Bay Area. Rates lower when booking over 2 hours. Please inquire.
