What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a healing art for harmonizing life energy. Placing hands on specific points on the body sets the healing flow of energy in motion. This creates harmony and homeostasis. The client is fully clothed, lying on their back on a massage table. It does not involve massage or manipulation of muscles to harmonize and restore energy flow.

Jin Shin Jyutsu employs twenty-six safety energy locks on each side of the body along energy pathways that feed life into our bodies. When one or more of the paths become blocked, unwanted symptoms and disharmony may result. Holding these energy locks in specific sequences restores and brings balance to body and mind.

Hello, I'm so glad you have found me here! If you are new to Jin Shin Jyutsu or are a longtime lover of the art, I’m happy to meet you in this sacred space of healing and grace. I’ve been on a dedicated path of inner discovery for over 25 years, that has taken me around the world exploring many traditions, teachers, and healers. I discovered Jin Shin Jyutsu in 2013 and resonated with the simplicity, humility, and the depth of it's healing power. I knew immediately it was a path I wanted to explore further and joined my first training in 2014 to become a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner. Since then I have been committed to taking in person Jin Shin Jyutsu courses as often as possible to learn more and refine my understanding of this lifelong study. I am sincerely grateful to my Jin Shin Jyutsu teachers, Mary Burmeister and Jiro Murai, for making this artless art accessible and available

My services are currently available in person in Portland, Oregon, and the surrounding areas. I can visit your location with my table to provide Jin Shin Jyutsu in your home, a hospital, elder care facility, hospice setting, or wherever you or a loved one may be. I work with all people, from those who simply want to relax, to those with acute and chronic labels, to end of life care.
