My name is Patricia Becks, and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician, Nail Technician and Reiki Practitioner. I believe that self-care is a necessity, not a luxury. As your dedicated therapist, I am committed to creating a personalized experience that addresses your unique needs, whether that's pure relaxation, alleviating pain or improving skin health.
New clients will first complete intake forms covering medical conditions, injuries, and medications and any recent infections or surgeries. A consultation will take place before each session to discuss treatment goals and preferences. Therapists will review all information to identify any contraindications where massage might be unsafe or where modifications will be needed. Therapists will explain the treatment plan, including techniques and target areas, and obtain the client's consent before beginning the session. Clients have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Clients will be draped at all times, except for areas where the therapist is working. Lubricants like oils and lotions will be used during the course of the session, depending on the technique. Clients are encouraged to communicate comfort and preferences before and throughout the massage session. Recommendations for follow-up sessions and self-care will be provided at the end of the session. Confidential records of treatments will be maintained for each session for the purpose of continuity of care.
