- Whiplash

Let us help you RESOLVE the injuries or pain that are keeping you from being your healthiest and most vibrant self!
An eclectic approach
- Goal-oriented: whether is injury rehabilitation, chronic pain, or athletic performance, we will help you achieve the goals that are important to you
- Individualized: your therapist will create a treatment plan that is designed to meet your specific needs
- Diverse: your treatment may include a combination of various modalities and techniques in manual therapy, movement therapy, kinesiotaping, breathwork, or biofeedback (see our Modalities and Techniques page)
- Neuroscience-based: pain and neuromuscular health are as much about the health of your autonomic nervous system as they are about your muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments. Find balance between your fight/flight/freeze and rest/digest responses to daily life
We will help you learn to actively re-pattern your stress response towards higher strength, adaptability, and resilience and re-educate the way your neuromuscular system responds to daily demands, athletic performance, injury, or chronic pain.

Brian went on to serve as a faculty member at MTSM along with several other massage schools where he taught a variety of academic, bodywork, and movement classes.

For each of his patients, Brian creates an individualized treatment plan to help his patients achieve their goals that. This approach employs a variety of manual therapy, movement, and mindfulness modalities (see Modalities and Techniques page) selected to honor the individual as a whole, helping them to integrate body and mind for balance and health.
The overall intention is to create a safe, therapeutic atmosphere that will calm the nervous system and allow the body to heal itself.

**If you wish to use health, auto, or worker's comp insurance, please contact us to find out if we can bill your plan. The rate shown below is the discounted rate for payment at time of service. If we bill your insurance, your copay/co-insurance will depend on your particular insurance coverage.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies will be enforced.
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the 50% of the session rate for your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged the full amount for their “missed” appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other patients, and to get the most out of your session please plan accordingly and be on time.
I look forward to serving you!
Insurance billing
The majority of health insurance plans in California do not cover medical massage. I am happy to provide a superbill which you can submit to your insurance provider. There are a few plans that will reimburse you for massage therapy services. I can help you with the questions and language to use with your insurance provider to find out.
Additionally, if you were recently in a motor vehicle collision or injured at work, your insurance may cover medical massage. I may be able bill your insurance company for Motor Vehicle Collision/Personal Injury Protection and Worker's Compensation coverage.
