I have a blended background with over 20 years experience working in outpatient sports rehabilitation setting and in private practice as both a licensed massage therapist and physical therapist assistant as well as over 12 years as a certified lymphedema therapist (speciailizing in edema of head/neck, UE and chest)

My approach includes a Swedish massage foundation infused with various clinical skills including but not limited to: soft tissue mobilzation, myofascial release, scar mobilization, lymphatic massage techniques, cupping, Kinesio taping, instrument assisted massage, and gentle stretching to promote relaxation to tight tissue, improve healing, increase blood flow and fasciliate improved lymphatic flow.

If you prefer 60 minutes of deep tissue massage, I will gladly refer you to another massage therapist.

TMJ

Shoulder injuries/post op rotator cuff repairs

Hip injuries/ post op total hip replacements

Knee injuries

Post op total knee replacements

Massage as well as lymphatic drainage AFTER completion of breast cancer/head and neck cancer treatments

I am a licensed professional. I do not, and will not, tolerate any behavior that is unkind, unprofessional, or unsafe.

I will send you a text confirmation for your visit. Failure to cancel 24 hours in advance may result in being charged a $50 fee.

I use a clinical approach with specific intentions with each visit. If you choose to use a health spending account for payment, it will be your responsibility to obtain any documents needed.

What to wear:

Keep in mind, if you want your back and neck worked on, I will need access to this area.

Loose fitting shorts are often a good choice.

You will be appropriately draped so that the only area uncovered is the area I am currently working on

Please consider the following for your safety:

You will need to independently get on, off, and turn on the massage table

This office is located on the 2nd floor. If you have difficulty with stairs, there is a handicap ramp w/ entrance to 2nd floor, located in the back parking lot.

Unsafe health conditions for massage therapy:

Fever

Contagious illness such as a cold or flu or stomach bug - please wait 7-10 days after symptoms resolve to allow your immune system to respond to illness and avoid spreading the illness to others.

History of or current blood clots

High blood pressure that is not controlled by medication

Open or draining wounds

Conditions that need special consideration and possibly medical clearance:

Pregancy

Post surgical

Current cancer diagnosis/treatment

Neuropathy

Currently on blood thinners

Liver or cardiac conditions

Autoimmune flare
