Maura Burke Abramo

Maura integrates her clinical skills and experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to offer massage as a complementary modality to traditional physical therapy interventions that enhance recovery and healing in the body and mind.

She is present in her work, her quality of touch is intentional and compassionate. Maura’s goal is to cultivate healing, to promote calming of the nervous system, and to facilitate increased body awareness. She believes that through massage, one will gain autonomy over their healing by understanding how their body functions and feels. Maura has many interests including cooking, running, practicing yoga, traveling with her husband, walking, tennis, paddleboarding (anything that brings me outside and keeps me moving) and snuggling w/her two cats. Maura looks forward to connecting with you on her table for a transformational experience.
