MARIA HARTRUM is Nationally Board Certified (NCBTMB) and Licensed by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists (#15961) providing massage therapy services in Lebanon Oregon. Maria is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM) and Health Coach (ACE) plus maintains a CPR/AED Healthcare Provider certification. Maria was also a Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA) from 1999 to 2024.

As a Pre-Physical Therapy student, Maria earned a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education-Exercise Physiology plus a Nutrition Minor from California State University, Chico. in addition, Maria earned a Massage Practitioner's Certification from Integrative Therapt School in Sacramento CA in 1990 and took courses from the Oregon School of Massage in 2009 to prepare for State Licensure. To date, over 1300 hours of continuing education courses including Pathology, Medical Massage, Exercise, and Nutrition have been taken.

After over 10-years of providing massage therapy and/or fitness training for Health & Fitness Clubs in Chico CA (Chico Sports Club-8yrs, Stars Fitness for Women), Maria moved to her home town of Gilroy CA and began Hartrum's Massage & Fitness in 1999. In 2008 Maria moved to Oregon and reopened the business after getting licensed by Oregon November 17, 2009. For over 35 years, Maria has provided over 15,000 hours of massage therapy to many happy clients/patients.

SERVICES

Medical Massage Therapy ($40/15-minute Unit) includes Manual Therapy, Massage Therapy, and possibly Heat/Ice treatments to help manage pain and improve function after surgery or injury. This service requires Doctor's prescription which includes ICD-10 codes plus frequency & duration of treatment. Additionally, for Auto Insurance claims, pre-authorization including claim number, agent contact, date of accident/injury, and if applicable, attorney contact information is required. For Health insurance claims, please check with your carrier to confirm your policy includes massage therapy provided by a Massage Therapist and not supervised or in a Doctor or Physical Therapist's office.

Massage Therapy (Therapeutic/Orthopedic & Relaxation)

15-Minute Session: $40

30-Minute Session: $50

60-Minute Session: $85

90-Minute Session: $120

Therapeutic/Orthopedic Massage includes various techniques including Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Stretching to help improve function and reduce or eliminate pain. This type of work may include some mild discomfort or 'good pain' and a little post treatment soreness a day or two after the session - like after a good workout. The amount of pressure used varies depending on your tolerance and ability to breathe through the pressure. You are in complete control.

Relaxation Massage is just that - relaxing with no discomfort. The primary technique is Swedish Massage.

HOURS, SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Appointments are available Monday through Friday with preferred time slots being: 9:00am, 10:30am, 2:00pm, and 3:30pm. Upon request, other days/times may become available. Text or Call today to schedule your appointment (1-541-1365). Please leave a message and your call will be returned within 24-48 hours. Please specify a few dates and times you prefer, the desired duration, and any questions you may have. If your appointment will be covered by or involves Insurance in any way, pre-authorization is required - please follow directions under 'Medical Massage'. NO WALK-INS.

The day prior to your appointment you will receive a text message reminder. Please respond as soon as possible to confirm your appointment or let me know if you need to cancel at no charge. If no cancellation notice is given and results in a No-Show full payment will be required prior to or at your next appointment. If you are running late, please let me know asap so I do not leave the office. Also, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. You will be responsible for the 'full' session payment.
