Karen Potter

My work is shaped by a lifetime of movement, recovery, and caring for others. After years of elite mountain-bike racing, horseback riding, and basketball—as well as navigating injuries of my own—I came to understand how pain and compensation patterns can affect the whole body.

That experience led me to massage and bodywork, including myofascial work with both people and horses. I’ve also explored Biosynchronistics and Functional Patterns, approaches that have helped me move with greater ease and deepen my understanding of how the body works as a connected whole.

I’m currently back in school to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, building on my work as a registered nurse. Because of that commitment, I’m generally not accepting new human clients at this time. My work with horses remains an important part of my practice.
