Lifeforce Movement

I’m Jennifer Reeves, a licensed massage therapist and movement educator with more than 27 years of experience helping people feel and function better in their bodies.

My approach has grown from decades of hands-on massage practice along with training in movement, alignment, restorative exercise, natural movement, breath, and somatic education. The modalities listed above are not necessarily separate treatments; they are part of the toolbox that informs how I work with each individual.

I believe the body is adaptable and that meaningful change can happen throughout our lives. My work is less about “fixing” your body and more about helping you reconnect with your own capacity for ease, awareness, movement, and change. Skilled touch, movement, gravity, breath, and attention can all provide information that helps the nervous system respond differently, which can grow new patterns.

I work collaboratively, with curiosity rather than force. Pain is information—not something to push through—and there are no points for overriding what your body is telling you.

Currently, Lifeforce Movement is in a period of transition and I am not offering massage from a regular practice location. This site will be updated as new services and ways to work with me become available.
