I have been in the bodywork field for 49 years now with still no plans of retiring. Needless to say, over all this time and through all of my years of training, I still really love my deep tissue/myofascial work, but I have also equally embraced my work of the last 15 years with the wonderful elders, dementia, and hospice patients I have been fortunate to see as well. It seems our need for touch, connection, compassion, and caring is needed by all people, at all stages of life. As long as we still take a breath, we still matter, we still count, we still are viable human beings in need of each other.
