My Mission
My mission is to provide a therapeutic, relaxation massage experience second to none. Every session is thoughtfully curated to meet your specific needs, ensuring you leave feeling balanced, restored, and deeply relaxed.

My Approach
My approach was taught to me at Bhakti Academe, School of Intuitive Massage and Healing: “Let go, and let God.” For those of us who believe, this is a simple concept to understand and accept. Putting it into practice in the presence of ego, however, is another matter.

In a spiritual context, the ego is the part of the mind that seeks control, certainty, and self-reliance. It thrives on the belief that every outcome must be managed through our own limited will and effort.

“Letting go and letting God” is the intentional surrender of that control. While the ego fears vulnerability and demands a specific roadmap, surrender requires trusting a higher intelligence to guide the “how” and “when” of life’s challenges. In this framework, the ego becomes the primary barrier to peace, viewing a lack of personal control as a threat rather than an opportunity for divine intervention.

In my own words, I am grateful for my faith in the Holy Trinity and pray for Its guidance in every massage.

I graduated from Bhakti Academe in the summer of 2001 and was licensed on August 8 of that same year. I spent my first year in practice at Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door Salon in Westshore Mall. In November 2002, I opened my own practice inside LaPosh Salon in Clearwater, Florida. I will always be grateful to the staff and clients of LaPosh for helping make my practice an enjoyable success.

As fate would have it, in 2009—after a short stint with a group of chiropractors—I moved my practice to MAC Therapies, Inc. Mark and Julie Calandro continued the tradition of support by providing a warm, welcoming environment for both staff and clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 32 years, the mother of our two children, as well as keeping up with our sons and their families. My wife often shares our adventures on Facebook under the name The Hiking Helds. Church, travel, exercise, socializing, and of course massage are among the many things that bring me joy.
