Welcome to Healing Touch Wellness

Hi, I am Shawna Birkeland, a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (CHTP) dedicated to helping you restore balance, ease stress, and reconnect with your body’s natural ability to heal. With 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and 12 years of incorporating healing touch into my nursing practice, I have witnessed these techniques assisting many patients with relaxation and pain management. Thus allowing their mind and body to begin to rest and replenish.

Trained through Healing Beyond Borders, I use gentle, heart-centered touch to clear, balance and energize the human energy field. Whether you are navigating chronic pain, recovering from a recent surgery, emotional fatigue, cancer treatment/recovery, or simply need deep relaxation, my sessions provide a quiet restorative space to reset.

I was drawn to healing touch after my own injury that was not resolving as expected and I was seeking other modalities to help restore my health. I experienced first hand how powerful quiet, heart-centered intentional presence can be for the nervous system and how it helped my back pain go away. Since those early days, I have used these techniques to benefit many patients in the hospital and the community dealing with various ailments related to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual imbalances.

I believe every person’s wellness journey is unique. My goal is to meet you where you are, listen with compassion, and create a supportive experience tailored to your individual needs.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey toward greater comfort, balance, and wellness.

You deserve time to pause, restore, and receive care. I look forward to welcoming you to Healing Touch Wellness.
