Cheri Gillham

I have been a massage therapist since 1993, when I graduated from a 550-hour program and opened my full-time practice. Since then, I have completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education. I have taught at several massage schools and have served as the Department Head of a Therapeutic Massage program since 2020. I have also assisted with CranioSacral Therapy training through the Upledger Institute and Carol Gray Craniosacral Training.

Much of my practice is devoted to newborns, infants, and children, including children with special needs. I work with families seeking support for feeding and latching concerns, colic, torticollis, and the needs of children with Down syndrome or autism. I also support mothers during pregnancy and after birth.

In my work with adults, I draw on CranioSacral Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy to address concerns such as jaw pain and TMJ dysfunction, migraines, neck and shoulder injuries, lower back and hip pain, and chronic pain. I offer space for emotional release when it arises during a session.

Education is an important part of my work. I teach self-care workshops on jaw pain, headaches, and hip pain, as well as continuing education courses for massage therapists in Craniosacral Therapy, internal mouth work for TMJ concerns, and other topics. My goal is to help each client listen to their body, understand their options, and find the care that feels right for them.
