John Lubarsky

Back 9 Massage LLC provides professional mobile massage therapy throughout Morris County, Somerset County, North Jersey, and additional New Jersey communities by arrangement.

John C. Lubarsky is a New Jersey licensed massage and bodywork therapist specializing in sports massage, deep-tissue massage, medical massage, and targeted therapeutic bodywork. His work is designed for active adults, athletes, golfers, people in physically demanding occupations, and clients experiencing persistent muscular tension or restricted mobility.

John’s work is built around a structured foundation routine refined through years of professional practice. This foundation creates a thorough, consistent session while allowing him to branch into more targeted work whenever specific areas of tension, restriction, or overuse are identified. Pressure, pacing, technique, and time spent in each area are adjusted according to the client’s goals, preferences, and response to the work.

Neck work may include sustained finger-pressure techniques along the occipital ridge and base of the skull—a technique John routinely incorporates to address localized neck tension. Other areas may receive focused pressure to areas of muscular tension when appropriate.

Common areas of focus include neck and shoulder tension, back and hip tightness, overworked legs, mobility limitations, and recovery following exercise, sports, travel, or physically demanding work.
