About
About the Practitioner
My name is Amanda Joosten, and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. I also worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 13 years, an experience that has deeply shaped how I understand movement, recovery, and long‑term physical function. While I am not practicing physical therapy within this clinic, that professional background strongly informs the way I assess patterns, think about efficiency, and approach care with intention.
I grew up on a working dairy farm, where physical labor, repetition, long hours, and limited recovery time were part of everyday life. From an early age, I learned what it means to rely on your body—not for performance, but for responsibility. On a farm, your body doesn’t get “days off.” You learn quickly how strain accumulates, how compensations develop, and how ignoring small issues eventually leads to bigger limitations.
Through my years working as a PTA, I saw those same patterns repeated in clinical settings. People pushed through discomfort, adapted their movements to manage pain, and normalized limitations until they affected daily life. I also saw how much difference meaningful, well‑timed support could make—not just in recovery, but in confidence, independence, and quality of life.
My purpose in this work is to support people who want to feel more capable in their bodies across all stages of life. Whether someone is managing physically demanding work, staying active, navigating long‑term wear and tear, or simply wanting daily movement to feel easier, my goal is to provide care that is thoughtful, practical, and sustainable.
This work isn’t about fixing bodies or chasing perfection. It’s about helping people move with greater ease, reduce unnecessary strain, and build the capacity to meet the real demands of their lives—today and over time.
About EverLife Functional Wellness Clinic
EverLife Functional Wellness Clinic exists to support the body’s ability to move, recover, and function efficiently over time. Our work is grounded in purposeful manual therapy, functional understanding of the body, and care that adapts to real‑world demands.
Over the past ten months, EverLife has evolved through hands‑on clinical experience—listening to client feedback, observing rpatterns, and refining services to meet what people actually need: reduced pain, improved mobility, better stress regulation, and sustainable wellness support.
Reflection & Insight
I believe meaningful care comes from understanding how people actually live and move—not just how bodies function in ideal conditions. Growing up around physically demanding work and later spending over a decade supporting movement and recovery professionally, I’ve seen how easily strain, tension, and limitation become part of everyday life.
This work is rooted in the idea that bodies deserve consistent, thoughtful support to meet real demands over time. My aim is to help people feel more capable and confident in their movement—not by forcing change, but by creating space for the body to recover, adapt, and function more efficiently in daily life.
Care at EverLife is structured, intentional, and focused on long‑term improvement—not temporary fixes or one‑size‑fits‑all approaches.
What to Expect
Each visit is designed to be efficient, effective, and personalized.
Targeted Intake & Ongoing Assessment
Sessions begin with a brief but focused review of pain patterns, movement restrictions, daily stressors, activity level, and goals. Every appointment is adjusted based on how your body presents that day.
Purpose‑Driven Manual Therapy
Techniques are selected based on function—not routine. Work may address muscular tension, fascial restriction, joint mobility, and nervous system load, depending on individual needs.
Supportive, Regulated Clinical Environment
The clinic is designed to promote focus, regulation, and recovery. The setting is calm, professional, and intentional—supporting therapeutic outcomes without distraction or sensory overload.
Integration & Practical Guidance
When appropriate, clients may receive simple recommendations related to movement, recovery, or workload to help reinforce the work done during sessions.
The goal is measurable improvement over time—less pain, better movement, and improved overall capacity.
Massage & Bodywork Services
All services at EverLife are rooted in functional wellness, meaning each technique serves a specific role within the body’s larger systems.
Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage focuses on resolving tension patterns, improving circulation, and supporting overall musculoskeletal function. Work is adapted to tolerance and therapeutic goals rather than following a preset format.
Supports: chronic discomfort, stiffness, postural strain, and general dysfunction.
Deep Tissue & Myofascial Release
This approach uses slow, deliberate techniques to address deeper layers of muscle and fascia. The focus is on releasing restriction and restoring tissue mobility without aggressive force.
Supports: long‑standing tightness, overuse injuries, repetitive strain, and limited range of motion.
Nervous System Regulation‑Focused Bodywork
This work is designed to support autonomic regulation by reducing excessive sympathetic (stress‑related) activation. Sessions emphasize steady, controlled input that helps the body transition into a recovery‑supportive state.
Supports: chronic stress, sleep disruption, nervous system overload, and recovery deficits.
Functional Recovery & Mobility Support
Functional recovery sessions integrate manual therapy with movement‑informed principles to support joint function, mobility, and tissue resilience. Ideal for individuals who want their bodywork to support active lifestyles, work demands, or performance goals.
Supports: athletes, general recovery needs, physically active individuals, and long‑term movement health.
Looking Ahead: Clinic Expansion
EverLife Functional Wellness Clinic is preparing for thoughtful expansion. Upcoming developments will focus on additional integrative services and enhanced therapeutic offerings designed to further support long‑term health and function.
While the clinic continues to grow, the foundation remains the same:
intentional care, functional outcomes, and individualized treatment grounded in real clinical experience.
Clinic hours Monday through Friday: 9 AM to 5 PM. Clinic hours are subject to change.
