Active Body (AB) Therapies is an Akron, Ohio-based therapeutic massage practice focused on restoring function, not just providing short-term relief. Before becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), I spent over 10 years as a software consultant, which shaped how I think and work: analytically, systematically, and with attention to patterns. Movement, recovery, and body mechanics have always been central to my life through competitive lifting and yoga, making clinical massage a natural progression.

I believe practitioners should practice what they preach. My approach is collaborative and outcome-focused, and I regularly work alongside trusted local practitioners to support clients. Outside the office, you’ll find me lifting, hiking in CVNP, listening to live local music, journaling at a coffee shop, or taking a spontaneous weekend road trip.
