My philosophy

I believe that therapeutic touch interconnects the physical, physiological, emotional, and spiritual aspects of us as human beings. I believe in the relational respect and value that needs to exist between me and  my clients.

I like working in partnership with my clients to create a treatment plan that supports effective care.  Creating a safe space for adjusting a treatment plan as needed it is the focus of each session. I like to believe that true collaboration happens when my clients are open to their bodies awareness and curious about what their bodies are willing to heal. Each body is unique and each person's healing process is different. I believe that there is healing reciprocity between my clients and me.  My clients are gifting me a new experience and I learn from each person. 

In my practice of therapeutic massage, I incorporate a variety of techniques such as fascia, intra-oral massage, abdominal, breast, hot stones, cupping, and sport massage to support my clients in their healing process. The needs of my clients come first.  

My work with fascia is gentle, slow, deep, and profound. I am an advocate that healing can be gentle. Working with fascia is focused on easing into a healing process with the goal of reducing pain, increasing relaxation, and getting rid of harmful muscular patterns. Most of the time, these patterns are caused by  poor postures, repetitive movements, and physical trauma from new or old  injuries.

In the past seven years of practicing massage, I developed an awareness of the importance of a safe space that echoes inclusiveness, generous touch, kindness, and listening to support clients from all walks of life. I believe that letting go of control allows the physical and emotional to open up and to have an effective dialogue to lessen fear, stress, and anxiety. These dialogues are welcome on the table, and I am committed to supporting my clients through these experiences.
