Opuntia (o-pun′she-uh) is the genus name of the Prickly Pear Cactus, a source of food, water, medicine and protection. Thriving in the harshest of environments, prickly pears have come to symbolize adaptability, endurance, determination, growth, and health.  Opuntia Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork is passionate about helping your body heal itself.  As a therapist, I draw on critical thought and creativity to facilitate healing by finding unique or unexpected approaches to various conditions. Emotional well-being is just as important as physical health and one of my priorities is to help my clients reduce their daily stress and to become more balanced.  I am also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, my work mainly involves Integrative massage with Manual Lymph Drainage, Complete Decongestive Therapy, Swedish Massage,acupressure, and reflexology.  The best way I can facilitate happiness and health in others is by passing along my knowledge of massage therapy.
