Tracy Dulock

Tracy has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in Texas since 2008.  She practices Trigger Point Therapy at events around the state and at her office in Robinson, Texas.  She competes in a number of amateur dog sports with her Golden Retriever, “Gryffindor”, at which she also applies Trigger Point Therapy to canine athletes and their human handlers.

 

Trigger Point Therapy is a massage modality that increases range of motion.  It focuses on addressing tight muscles and related pain patterns and weaknesses in the body.  As such it's a terrific option for athletes, weekend warriors and individuals recovering from surgery, injuries or other medical conditions.  Even if you don't fall into one of these categories, most every adult walking around is carrying trigger points of varying degrees and can benefit from this form of massage.

Trigger Point Therapy goes to the source of the problem.  Your body is a sophisticated piece of engineering and muscles tend to tighten up in a predictable order and with predictable pain/weakness patterns.  Based on your symptoms, Tracy identifies the muscle group to work and treats trigger points all the way back to the roots of the issue. For clients who are motivated stretchers she provides a list of muscles to target.  She also delves into what caused the tight muscles and can help strategize about how to avoid reactivating the trigger points in the future.
