Timothy Garrison

In 2006, I graduated top of my class from The National Academy of Massage Therapy and Healing Sciences in Kulpsville, PA. I started out practicing mainly deep-tissue massage for a number of years working in conjunction with chiropractic care.  I found deep tissue work to be very hard on both my body and the bodies of my clients.

In  2011 found the John Barnes Approach to Myofascial Release (MFR).When I discovered MFR, I found a system that worked with the body instead of against it. It has totally revolutionized the way I view my role in the healing process; instead of “fixing” people, I help facilitate their own innate healing process.  I have taken over 450 of continuing education since 2011 and have really just let the technique teach me.  I now view myself as a healing facilitator, a guide of sorts, helping my clients navigate their own unique holding patterns and restoring peace between body and mind.
