About
Our goal is to help clients achieve good health. We want to provide the highest quality services, using techniques and influences – both Eastern and Western – that have been handed down for centuries.
Our concept, which relies heavily upon the expertise of Eastern massage and the artistry of Western Massage, emphasizes the alignment of the meridians and energies of the body. Eastern massage relies upon ancient, more rigorous methods and focuses on anatomy and internal organs. Western massage focuses on physiological effects on the body, using soft, smooth strokes to relieve stress and eliminate waste at the cellular level.
We also hope to educate our clientele to help them realize the importance of massage as part of a healthy lifestyle and how massage affects the body, mind, and spirit. Let me help you achieve the goal of good health today.
A calming sensation washes over us while we give a massage. It’s a sensory thing. We’ve always felt that we can read people. And there’s something about Thai massage techniques that entwines you with somebody else. We think people can sense a connection even when they are stressed. For whatever reason, they instantly feel able to relax. We’ve always understood the capacity of Thai to heal body and mind.
Once, a wise old monk called Lua-see stretched out with a knowing contentedness. The story goes that after days of meditation in the forest, sitting in one position for a long time, he could relieve his aching limbs through a series of stretches. Armed with this physical relief, the art form of Thai massage was developed and recorded by monks. The techniques were passed down from legends from generation to generation: a legacy of health both in body and mind there for all of us to tap into, no matter how young or old we are. No wonder it took months to learn.
It was clear during our tuition that Thai stretching was not just a way to massage but was also an exercise that benefited sports and mental stress. A physical and mental challenge, we were driven by the knowledge that we could help people find a better balance in their lives. Nobody ever forgets the feeling that builds from stretching your body this way—the same feeling as when you do yoga and meditation.
The benefits of Thai massage are endless. All I know is when you have a healthy mind; you can do many good things for people. As found through the discipline of meditation, massage is energy-giving and life-fulfilling. In the end, Thai is more than just a massage.
