Robert Douglas

Robert Douglas graduated from Georgia Massage Institute in 2008. There he was trained in Trigger Point Therapy by Dr. Kim Miller, DC, a former student of Dr. Janet Travell, MD. (co-founder of Trigger Point Therapy and President Kennedy's White House physician). For the past 8 years he has worked in chiropractic offices and has been exposed to numerous musculoskeletal conditions. Robert is trained in a variety of modalities including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques. Because his effort is focused on genuinely helping others, Robert considers himself a 'lifetime' student, always seeking to increase his knowledge and understanding of the Human Movement System. In addition to the aforementioned techniques, Robert has also taken courses in personal training and corrective exercise through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Whether your goal is to gain relief from stress and pain, to improve general function and flexibility, or to achieve optimal sports performance, Robert is well qualified and determined to consistently tailor your massage to meet your needs.
