Rebecca Leary Safon

I have dedicated my life’s work to the care of women, as a Yoga Therapist, Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, and Meditation Teacher. For 20 years, I have worked to create sacred space where you can explore mind, body & breath with nurturing and support.  I teach yoga and meditation virtually, and in studios, schools and centers around the Atlanta metro area, specializing in Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga for Cancer, and Meditation. Through Mother-to-Mother, I offer yoga and bodywork for women throughout their lifecycles, including prenatal and postpartum, pelvic floor training, yoga for seniors, and chair yoga. In private practice, I work with individuals seeking balance in mind, body & breath, through yoga, yoga therapy, meditation, and bodywork.

I am an RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, c-IAYT Yoga Therapist, and certified NMT. I have studied with Yoganand Michael Carroll/Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts, Marlysa Sullivan/the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies, and Meryl Arnett/Sacred Chill West. 

Before beginning my work in alternative healthcare, I was a dance and theater producer in New York City and Atlanta. I raised two strong, smart and beautiful daughters in Atlanta with my husband, two cats, and a Great Dane named Leon.
