I believe that carrying a child is one of the most special times in a woman's life.  It is also an emotional roller coaster. Taking time out to decompress, relax and allow your body to rest without any mental strain is incredibly important to mom and the developing child.  As such, I firmly believe that incorporating massage therapy, energy balancing & guided imagery throughout ones pregnancy is vital to a healthy pregnancy.  It also delivers results beyond physical relaxation, but spiritual, mental and emotional as well.

My journey began in 2012 after the birth of my child.  Going through postpartum anxiety and depression was incredibly difficult.  However, massage helped me get through it.  As a result, The Nurtured Mama was specifically created for moms so they can rest, get a good massage and get information and resources if necessary.  As a result, I have been exclusively supporting women thoughout their pregnancy ever since.  Now, as an Arvigo practioner, I can support women further in their journey towards motherhood and survival through the early years.  I am also a board member for PSI Arizona Chapter which strives to support moms and bring awareness to maternal mood disorders in the valley.

I have a Massage License from SWIHA AZ and additional certification in Prenatal and Postpartum Massage as well as The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy.
