Intuitive bodywork to support your healing journey
I practice massage because I have experienced its benefits firsthand. I know that it can support deep healing on many levels.
I received my Massage Practitioner certification at the Heartwood Institute in Northern California in 2008, and my Massage Therapist certification at the Scherer Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2011. Prior to establishing Moontide Healing Arts I provided massage services on a contract basis for a local chiropractic clinic.
I am dedicated to enriching my skill set through continuing education classes. I hold license #6909 through the New Mexico Massage Therapy Board and anticipate becoming licensed in Alaska after July 1, 2015 when licensing legislation for massage therapists goes into effect.
My primary massage modalities are Swedish and Deep Tissue. I also have training and experience with prenatal, lymphatic drainage, and massage cupping techniques. I have a special interest in energy medicine and accessing intuition. I enjoy incorporating hydrotherapy in my treatments with steamed towels and warm packs to promote relaxation.
Your well-being is my first priority. New clients will be asked for a brief medical history to screen for contraindications and determine the most appropriate approach to treatment.
