Why I do what I do:

In 2002, I went to a chiropractor with severe back pain.  The chiropractor recommended that I have a massage.  This made sense to try any and all modalities.  

I felt so much better after my massage therapy session that I finally knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

My goal was and still is to help the client get relief from discomfort and possibly correct the physical ailment causing the pain.
