Marie Hurrell

I believe bodywork, breathwork and yoga are portals to uncovering our "self" more deeply. 

I delight in holding space for individuals to go within and settle into that place where they can allow the healing power of the body to activate and do it's magic.  My education began in 2011 at the Salter School Massage Therapy 900 hour program in Tewksbury, Mass.  I recieved my Reiki 1 attunement from Sally Cook shortly following my graduation from school.  I worked as a professional licensed massage therapist for 6 years in many settings before beginning my 200 hour yoga education in Yoga in Stoneham, Mass at Yoga Moves in 2017.  In late November 2018, I obtained a certification in Buti Yoga at the Cure Studio in Salisbury, Mass.  Throughout 2019, I attended the Ayurvedic Center of Vermont's Ayurvedic Integration Program, learning the foundations of this vast and fascinating holistic approach to health.  Throughout the end of 2022 and most of 2023, I returned to attend ACV's 600 hour Ayurvedic Health Counselor Program.  I recently passed the board exam through NAMACB, officially certifying me as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor.  I love to use all the magical tools to help people come home to themselves more deeply.

When I'm not in the massage room, I enjoy gardening, being outdoors, reading, art of all kinds, yoga, playing with my dog Scooby, spending quality time with family, laughing with friends and listening to music that makes the body dance.
