Leona graduated from Fair Oaks Massage Institute in September of 2011 and has continued in education to include other modalities such as: Acupressure, Shiatsu, Medical Massage, Injury Management, Myofascial Release, Hot Stones, Raindrop Therapy, Aromatherapy, Integrated Massage, Cranial Sacral and Cupping Massage, etc. And she continues to expand her scope of practice learning new treatments that help people to heal.

Her philosophy is to bring holistic healing to the body, soul and spirit, using a variety of modalities that treats the individual.  Nutrition and movement plays an integral role in an individuals health therefore, nutrition, movement and the use of essential oils is incorporated into each treatment plan. Medications and their side effects will also be taken into consideration while setting up the clients' treatment plan and helping them add healthy alternatives to their healing journey.

The most common complaint clients have is "I Hurt!"  Up to 80% of all reported pain is myofascial restrictions. Trauma and inflammatory response create myofascial restriction that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain-sensitive structures that do not show up in any of the medical standard tests. Myofascial Release allows the chronic inflammatory response to resolve and eradicate the enormous pressure of myofascial restrictions exerted on pain-sensitive structures to alleviate symptoms and allow the body's natural healing capacity to function properly.
