Julia Pasley

Julia began her interest in bodywork in 2001 when she was offered a complimentary massage by a massage student which left her with an inner yearning to pursue this path. The healing she experienced during that session she wanted to pay forward to everyone she came in contact with. With over 700 Hours of Massage Training, she is fluent in Swedish, Integrative Massage, Sports Massage, and Hot Stone Therapy. Julia has worked closely with chiropractors and physical therapists. For 17 years Julia has successfully maintained her own mobile private practice and her main interest is the well-being of her clients. Through a strong sense of practicing the presence and a nurturing quality of touch, Julia encourages her clients to bring their bodies into the present moment, out of their thinking minds. She is adept at perceiving the body’s needs and meeting them with support, intuition, and appropriate technique. Julia does not impose a “one size fits all” philosophy. She can deliver deep tissue work and firm pressure but loves to give relaxing massages and chill clients out when it's nurturing they want and need. Julia believes in the body's amazing ability to heal itself naturally and that the therapeutic effects of massage is one of the many paths to restoring health and wholeness to the body. In addition to massage, Julia enjoys hiking, reading, meditation and yoga.
