Joleen Tafoya

I'm grateful that as a child I had the opportunity to spend summers in the majestic mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and winters in the desert of Palm Springs, California, engaged in nature and appreciative of its beauty and healing powers. It helped me gain a passion for health and wellness at a young age.

After spending almost 15 years in the financial world sitting behind a desk, I had the revelation and inspiration to make a change and pursue a more fulfilling and healing path in bodywork. I attended California Holistic Institute in 2012 and am now trained in several massage modalities. I have also trained at The Genius of Flexibility center in Santa Barbara to become an Affiliate Trainer in Resistance Flexibility™ (RFST) by Bob Cooley, a radical new dimension to yoga, physical therapy, personal training, and athletics.

I approach each client holistically; recognizing the healing forces in nature combined with the power of touch, presence and intuition to create a therapeutic massage or healing stretch session that is and tailored to your specific goals and needs. You will experience a blend of different techniques influenced by Lomi Lomi, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofacial Release, Sports Massage, Reflexology, and acupressure to provide effective sessions that will benefit you each time.
