Joan Manning

I started my career in bodywork in 1996 when I became certified in Neuromuscular Therapy and Swedish Massage. In 1998 I became certified in Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy through the Dr. Vodder School and that became my primary modality. I loved being able to do gentle work that was so powerfully healing. I am still amazed at how affective this modality is. It allows me to work with people who are truly in need of healing and it is very gratifying work to do.  

In the past year I realized I wanted to branch out a little with my work. I had always been interested in adding some form of flexibility training to my therapy and finally found the perfect fit with Fascial Stretch Therapy. In 2021 I became certified in Fascial Stretch Therapy through the Stretch to Win Institute and it reignited my love for structural, therapeutic bodywork. I find this form of therapy to be much deeper and long lasting than the massage work I had been trained to do initially. I look forward to many more years of helping people relax, heal, and live with little to no more pain and inflammation.
