I will start out by saying that Hospice Massage is my specialty, my calling. Between 2015 and 2019, I participated in several end-of-life doula programs. I started massage school in 2017 and graduated in 2020; I knew this whole time I would not be following the traditional path of massage as a practitioner. Fast forward to 2021 when I moved to a different town and found a job listing at a hospital looking for a hospice massage therapist. I jumped right into it as my first paid position in massage since graduating from my program a year prior. Needless to say, it has been a confirmation that this is indeed my calling. I love providing massage to those who are nearing the end of their lives. There are so many aspects which are so different from what you're taught in massage school; however, somehow I seem to adapt to hospice work naturally. I am so excited to continue growing and learning both personally and professionally. Note: I am licensed in Wisconsin and work in Minnesota as well but the state does not require a license, just individual cities. Thank you in advance for reaching out!
