Gina Avilla

I graduated from the Cape Cod Community College massage therapy program in January 2010. Over the past 13+ years, I have worked in multiple massage settings ranging from a chiropractic office to spas, and clinics. I have also had the opportunity to volunteer for several post-race sports massage events such as the Falmouth Road Race and the Harwich 5k. This has helped me develop a variety of techniques and experience in the massage and wellness field. 

 

While attending the Massage program I also was certified in Aromatherapy from The New England Institute of Reflexology & Universal Studies in 2009. This course trained me in the effectiveness of essential oils, creating aromatherapy bends and products while also learning how to apply and use them safely.

 

After the massage program, I wanted to expand into energy work and began my Reiki training at the Blessings of Reiki school and was Certified as Reiki Master Teacher in June of 2011. 

 

Massage and energy work is my passion and has been a very fulfilling and rewarding experience. This work, along with the love and support of my friends and family has inspired me to open Grateful Moments Massage Therapy.
