Gabriela Rivera

After 15+ years of working in event production, logistics and administration, I decided on a change of career. In 2013, I enrolled at the Southern California Health Institute, in North Hollywood, CA., to become a Certified Massage Therapist.  
  
Being the daughter of a physician, healing has always been a big part of my life, so the change of course in my path was not a sudden or abrupt decision. I have always been drawn to the benefits of massage therapy as an alternative healing modality.  
  
After graduating from SOCHI, I was inspired to deepen my knowledge in other integrative approaches and in 2015 I obtained certifications in Contemporary Cupping Methods, through the International Cupping Therapy Association, as well as Auth Method of Forearm Massage. In that same year, I opened my private practice in Los Angeles, CA as Healing Tree Massage Therapy and successfully operated until my move to Denver, CO in 2017.

 

In 2018 I obtained training in Reiki I & II, and am currently pursuing certifications in Clinical Herbalism as well as preparing for training as a Reiki Master.
  
I deeply believe in the power of alternative healing methods and in leveraging the tools that Mother Nature has intended for us. Our body has an amazing capability to heal oneself when provided with the right knowledge and intention.   
  
Healing is my passion, my life. I am and will be forever committed to assisting those who are in need of support.
