Dorothy M. Brazis, MS, CMT (Certified Massage Therapist).

In 2003 I graduated from the Florida School of Massage with 750 hours of training. Since that time I have received additional certifications in Sports Massage, Visionary Craniosacral Therapy, 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, Ayurvedic Massage, and Life Coaching. While I believe that training is essential, the client is the expert in their body. I am there to help bring awareness and to assist with the healing process. 

Outside of massage, my sister and I run a small farm that includes goats, horses, chickens, dogs, and a medicinal and native plant nursery. Being close to the land and nature is healing and grounding. It teaches me to slow down, breathe, and be in my body. I believe that massage achieves the same results and is more important than ever in this increasingly chaotic world. It provides a time to recalibrate our body and mind so we can meet the world fully. 

We are a microcosm. Whatever is going on internally is reflected in the outer world. If we have stuck places in our bodies or mind, our lives cannot flow freely, and our light cannot shine. Massage can provide release. It provides a myriad of physical and psychological benefits of massage that contribute to a life of more ease and less pain. It is therefore a regular component of my self-care regime. I want you to experience the same joy giving and receiving massage gives me.
