Healing Melody Therapeutic Massage offers licensed, certified massage therapy sessions for all types of clients in the Simsbury and West Hartford, CT area. Modalities include Swedish (classic) massage, Thai, Swe-Thai, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Positional Release and Trigger Point Therapies. 
I specialize in issues of the upper back, shoulders and neck, but am just as comfortable working with pain in other areas of the body. While I do deep tissue work, I don't subscribe to the "no pain no gain philosophy". I always work within my client's comfort level and will not try to force muscles that aren't ready to relax. This is counterproductive and will lead to more pain and discomfort for you during the session and beyond. There are also many non painful ways to achieve the same results, such as Positional Release therapy.
