Hello! I am the owner of Blue Dove Healing Arts. I have been a certified reiki Master in the traditional Usui reiki lineage since 2019. I am also a wildlife biologist, and believe in the healing power of nature. My philosophy is that everyone should spend time and efforts to nurture all aspects of their being: mental, emotional, physical, and energetic. The physical body has an electrical (energy) field, and reiki works with this field to relax the physical body to help bring about balance and healing. It's the perfect compliment to any other work you are doing on those levels, and will help speed the results. Reiki can be sent long-distance, which is preferred for many of my clients during this time of covid, as well as to fit into busy lives, or during other times when in-person reiki is impractical. For example, I can send reiki during a surgery or other in-hospital treatment, or during recovery periods when someone is house bound.
