Cassandra practices massage therapy at Mercury Street Medical, located at 300 W Mercury St., Butte, MT.
Appointments are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm.
About The Practitioner
Cassandra studied massage under the guidance of Michael Eayrs at the Massage Training Institute of Montana in Bozeman, MT. Within the 600 hours of scientific massage education, she received an additional certification in NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT) as taught by NMT Developer, Judith DeLany, and deep tissue training with David Caselli in the Schulman Method. Cassandra keeps up the Montana State requirements for continuing education for Licensed Massage Therapists.
Cassandra received certification as an Ayurvedic Treatment Therapist at Fire Mountain in Ganeshpuri, India under the guidance of Kelsey Brusnyk and Myra Lewin of Hale Pule. Here, she studied several oil-based therapies including Snehan and Basti.
In addition to bodywork, Cassandra is faculty for The Spanda Yoga Movement Therapy School teaching Yoga Therapy, Anatomy, Ayurveda and Elementary Sanskrit. She is a certified Spanda® Yoga Movement Therapist (C-IAYT), Yoga Movement Teacher, and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant. She holds a MS degree in Experimental Psychology and Animal Behavior.
Cassandra volunteers at The Springs Living, teaching weekly Yoga Movement classes for the residents.
