Candace Blanchette

After a whiplash injury in 2012, I dove head-first into clinical modalities of massage to learn how to heal my chronic headaches, neck and shoulder pain. I learned as much as I could about the body, and maintained an active yoga practice. After my divorce in 2016, I became a Pilates instructor and began working with myself and others to rehabilitate chronic pain due to improper movement patterns and injury, and began studying Thai style mat-based massage with a focus on chronic pain.

I blend clinical soft tissue modalities and Eastern style bodywork, alongside rehab Pilates and self-care strategies to address both the root causes of dysfunction and the resulting pain and injury that develop in order to reintegrate my clients into a functional whole.
