My fundamental reason for providing this service is to improve health and wellbeing.  Depending upon your particular situation, I might be working to :

• support recovery from surgery or injury
• ease the discomfort or pain of a chronic long-term condition
• relieve the tensions and tightnesses resulting from stress or emotional upset
• help you through a pregnancy
• help you prepare for or recover from a marathon, competitive dance event or some other athletic activity

With 40 years of experience and education, I offer a broad spectrum of techniques under the umbrella term 'massage therapy' which affords me flexibility in the goals and intentions of the session.  This approach has allowed me to work and learn with clients widely diverse in age, medical condition and physical impediment.
