First and foremost, I am a lifelong student. I am constantly seeking to delve further into the vast world of massage and bodywork. I continue to learn new styles and techniques which makes my massage style unique and ever evolving.

I have been engaged in massage work for over 15 years, I began my official training in 2010 where I spent 2 years studying in the Rogue Community College Massage Therapy Program. I was trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Shiatsu and Jin Shin Do. I have since gone on to study Thai Massage and Womblifting at Baan Hom Samunphrai (The house of sweet smelling herbs) in the village of Saraphi in Northern Thailand. I appreciate the similarities and differences in both eastern and western styles of massage and enjoy when I can incorporate them together.

My Swedish massage style blends techniques and concepts I have learned from many great teachers over the years. It is done on a massage table with the use of massage oil or lotions. It can include long flowing strokes, pressure points, joint mobilizations, passive stretch, rocking, deep pressure, and calm caring touch. Swedish is the most widely used massage modality in the United States and is the basis of many spa massages.

My Thai massage style is traditional and is based on the concepts and techniques that have been handed down by Thai healers for many generations. It is done on the ground and incorporates acupressure and passive stretching. I also offer Thai Herbal Compress which blends the benefits of massage and herbal medicine.

I don’t believe the healing must end with the massage. I place strong emphasis on sending my clients with new knowledge and techniques to alleviate pain and heal at home. Please feel free to inquire about anything you would like to learn more about!
